I am a self-taught digital artist working with contemporary, abstract, and impressionistic art since 2014. My other interests are making 2D animation and 3D prints as I continue my adult studies in graphics online and classroom.
I seldom spend time outdoors observing and capturing scenery, and wildlife, when I visit parks, and botanical gardens or travel out of state. Using PhotoShop CS mostly, I either create images hand-drawn, but mostly combine images using the composition of colors, combining textures, and shapes, and adding layover images and frames to the image background to create the illusion of depth. Also, having analytical and logical skills in the creative process definitely helps.
Besides creativity derived from my imagination, I am inspired by the works of Jacob Lawrence, Charles White, Lois Mailou Jones, Eric White, and a few others. My interest in digital art began when I colored pencil an angelic picture of my mother called Angelic back in 2014, then I took my drawing and scanned it, and transferred it to Adobe Photoshop to add more colorization, depth, and composites expressed through my artistic interpretation.
